Hang glider safety wheel
Because sooner or later you have to land, whatever the landing area and sometimes even in turbulent atmospheric conditions.
Concepted by Jean-Claude Moreau with others experimented pilots and manufactured by his society, Plastiqual SA in Belgium, the famous Plastiqual safety wheel meets the need for security.
Jochen Zeischka, born in Ghent, Belgium and quadruple Belgian hang gliding champion recommends to fly with Plastiqual hang glider safety wheels because of the additional safety, especially for beginners and recreational pilots.
The wheel
• Protects the pilot when landing in difficult conditions, for example with an unexpected moderate tail wind, where a normal foot landing becomes extremely difficult.
•Protects the wing (and particularly the trapeze unit).
It is designed to be shock resistant and to be fitted/removed on site.
