Production
Thermoplastic part injection is Plastiqual’s core business.
Plastiqual manufactures its injection moulds for the parts production of its customers. Plastiqual can also use your own existing injection moulds.
Plastiqual specialises in precision technical parts complying with tight tolerances and high dimensional stability.
The production ranges from small to medium series, which can be one- off or recurrent.
Injection machines
The injection department has a dozen machines, with a closing force of 5 to 420 tonnes.
The injectable volumes range from 0.1 to 2500 cm³.
The complementary nature of our machinery means that the most appropriate tool can be chosen for each production run, which guarantees fairest production prices.
Dual-material Injection
Dual-material injection consists of injecting two compounds in the same mould, either simultaneously or one after the other, to weld the materials together.
This technology offers multiple possibilities: to achieve aesthetic aspects (colours) or different properties for the parts of the part (rigidity-flexibility).
However, the cost of the tooling means this technology is used to produce medium and large series. Plastiqual has a special line for dual-material injection.
This machine is fitted with a swivel base allowing the simultaneous injection in two prints.
Technical parts
Plastiqual’s long-standing expertise with various technologies means that it can obtain precision parts with guaranteed repeatability (tight mechanical tolerances).
All the injection machines are fitted with close loop controls of the process parameters.

Automatisation
Plastiqual’s machinery is fitted with monitored automation equipment to ensure the repeatability and uniformity of parts in a series.
Robots handle the parts equating to lower production costs.
They are also used to insert metal elements, such as linchpins, axles, threaded sleeves, etc., during the injection process.

Micro injection
For small assembly parts, Plastiqual uses micro-injection equipment to produce parts with a volume under 6 cm³ with very tight tolerances.
An horizontal micro-injection machine has been added to complete this range of equipment. It is particularly suitable for overmoulding work.
Quality control
Any parts with parameters outside the set limits are automatically rejected from the injection process
Plastiqual has its own in-house Quality Control laboratory.
Each batch of parts supplied can have its own control protocol on paper or in digital format.
