Design Office
Plastiqual’s Design Department will work with you throughout the process to develop and fine-tune your product.
The proximity with the machining and production shops ensures close cooperation throughout the production chain.
Turning your idea into production
Plastiqual will work with you from your initial idea to the finished product to fine-tune your parts to optimise production costs.
Using your specifications and working closely with your experts, Plastiqual will adapt the process to the specific features of each application.
Finite element calculation and injection tools optimise the mechanical resistance and check the shapes.

Optimisation
Plastiqual’s Design Office uses injection simulation tools to optimise the shape of the moulds.
Finite element calculation techniques are used for the resistance parts.
These studies allow the manufacturing costs to be optimised.
Materials
Plastiqual is highly experienced in the use of special plastics, compounds and technical materials (PP, PS, PA, PPA, PPS, PEEK,…).
Plastiqual has an extrusion line which means that specific compounds in small quantities can be made to demand.
Plastiqual works with the leading stakeholders in the plastic industry.
.
Prototyping
Plastiqual has 3D printing material which means it can turn out a part being designed and assess whether it fits the remit.
This technology is ideal for prototypes, pre-series parts or very small series.
However, it does not allow mechanical resistance tests to be carried out.

Design
Plastiqual’s design office provides the technical expertise and customer support for the prelims, design and production of the parts, and ensures input from the different stages in the process (tooling department, injection).
The tooling is designed using Solidworks Wildfire CAD software together with a mould module.
The design office works in close cooperation with the Tooling department which produces the injection matrices in house. It provides the technical expertise and customer support for the preliminary work, design and production of the parts.
It always oversees the drawings.

Drawings and documentation
Tooling drawings produced by the CAD application are directly used on the digital control machines of the Tooling Department.
The drawings and documents may be handed over to the customer on as a hard copy or in electronic format.
